About

“The creation of a single world comes from a huge number of fragments and chaos.”
― Hayao Miyazaki

A photograph of Alice in a white dress and olive green bodice, squinting in the sunlight. Behind her is an old grist mill with a red wheel and falling water, a stone wall, and woodland beyond.

I wrote my first “book” when I was 13, after watching Princess Mononoke and feeling my brain unfurl with possibility. Since then, it’s been my dream to tell stories that push imagination to its boundaries, give volume to quieter voices, let new worlds be born.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, I got my BA in English & Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London. A passion for history and magic led me to writing characters who feel similar to me — queer, fat, mentally and chronically ill — within the historical fiction and fantasy genres.

I have many projects looking for a home with the perfect publisher! Editors, please contact my literary agent Brent Taylor at TriadaUS Literary Agency if you’re interested in seeing my work. I’m looking forward to sharing these stories with the world!
